John O’Connell

    John O’Connell serves as a shareholder and the managing attorney in charge of McCreary, Veselka, Bragg and Allen’s Abilene office. John is responsible for the administration of collection programs for the various taxing jurisdictions in an eleven-county region.

• Education: JD, Baylor University 2006; BS, United States Military Academy at West Point, 1998
• Military Service: United States Army 1998-2003; Captain, Infantry; Rifle Platoon Leader, Scout Platoon Leader, Battalion Adjutant; Veteran, Operation Iraqi Freedom
• Professional Qualifications: State Bar of Texas; Abilene Bar Association; Texas Northern District Court

    Our mission is to bless at-risk children in our local schools with basic necessities and provide them an experience of childhood magic through 3 main programs: Perfect PROMise provides young women a dress & accessories to attend prom; Kids n Khakis – a year-round program where school counselors request shoes, clothing and hygiene items for children in need; and Christmas in the Village provides families in need with gifts and clothing for their children at Christmas.
Currently Perfect PROMise needs donations of formal shoes, jewelry, handbags, and formal dresses.
